What are some of the reasons why some hgh and testosterone hormone deficient patients often experience fatigue, depression, obesity and anxiety

Posted: May 7, 2015 at 12:00 pm

Association between Adult Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency or Hypopituitarism and Depression, Anxiety and Fatigue

Some medical conditions that are mental, motivation or energy level associated, especially those related to HGH hormone imbalance, can have a wide variety of deleterious symptoms that often lead people to be misdiagnosed or under-diagnosed, or prescribed the wrong medications and treatments. Low HGH in adult men and women, also known as Adult Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency (AGHD) or Hypopituitarism, can result in flagging low energy, feelings of anxiety and chronic fatigue, these are symptoms that often manifest as a consequence of other health issues affecting the patient which are less readily apparent. Sometimes these mental and physical health issues can be the result of deficiencies in hormones like HGH and testosterone, which can be replaced through injections.

Anxiety and Depression Have Many Causes

HGH Replacement Therapy Treating Low HGH Levels and Deficiency

In order to get the best possible injectable HGH replacement treatment, it is important for both doctor and patient to understand how these psychological symptoms can be the result of other factors in a patient’s medical profile, not just hormone decline. Before turning to psychiatric medications, it’s important to rule out other potential causes that can lead to these conditions. Sometimes people become depressed because of obesity or hormone decline, and that’s what our HGH doctors will evaluate at our HGH clinic. Are you low in HGH? A simple IGF-1 test can determine if you are deficient in HGH, you might have hypopituitarism. Are you low in testosterone? A simple blood test can be conducted at a local labcorp center to determine if you have hypogonadism (low t). Take the first step at our HGH rejuvenation clinic. To reach us, the communication form is available for you to provide your confidential information, so you can reach us to discuss your hormone replacement therapy options. Our HGH Clinic serves the whole USA, so be sure to fill out the form and then call us, to talk about HGH injections, testosterone replacement therapy and Sermorelin Acetate. Our HRT clinic provides all kinds of excellent HGH, Sermorelin, Testosterone and HCG Diet Hormone Replacement Treatment programs.

HGH deficiency and low HGH can Lead to Depression, Obesity, Fatigue and Anxiety

The following list provides some items to be aware of for when a patients complain about symptoms of weight gain, obesity, fatigue, declining libido, sadness, depression, mood swings or anxiety:

These Medications Can Sometimes Have Side Effects that Cause Unintended Mental Effects

Often, a patient experiences psychological symptoms as a result of medicines that they are taking, whether those medicines are prescription or over the counter. The following are some medications that can lead to feelings of Depression, Anxiety, and Exhaustion:

  • Sustive
  • Interferon
  • Sulfonamides
  • Narcotics
  • Muscle Relaxers
  • SSRIs (This may come to a surprise to some patients, but in some patients, SSRIs can suppress some feelings associated with depression, while others to experience these feelings more acutely)
  • H2 Blockers
  • Antibiotics
  • Parkinson Medications
  • Antihypertensives

Testosterone Deficiency, Low T and Hypogonadism Can Cause Depression, Anxiety, Fatigue and Obesity

Depression, anxiety, obesity and fatigue are very common symptoms of Testosterone Deficiency, the medical term most often used to describe this is hypogonadism and in the popular culture it has been labelled Low T. If a patient is feeling down, psychologically, and they report that these feelings seem to have crept up on them over time, there is a real chance that these psychological symptoms are a direct result of Low-T (hypogonadism) and Andropause (number of age related symptoms associated with hgh decline). Andropause is a serious medical condition in which the normal decline of Testosterone with age leads to symptoms associated with suppressed Testosterone Levels. These symptoms include:

  • Depression
  • – men and women with low hgh or testosterone sometimes describe feelings of sadness for no reason.

  • Anxiety
  • – men and women with low IGF-1 levels or low t (hypogonadism) sometimes describe getting anxiety out of the blue.

  • Fatigue
  • – men and women with declining levels of testosterone or hgh can experience being tired after a full nights rest.

  • Weight Gain
  • – both men and women gain weight when their hormones are not balanced or in decline.

  • Loss of Muscle Mass
  • – in our 40s we easily can lose a pound of muscle and gain a pound of fat due to hormone decline.

  • Poor Cholesterol Balance
  • – diet is the best predictor of cholesterol imbalance, but so is genetics, a lipid panel should be conducted.

  • Arthritis
  • – arthritis is often a disease associated with old age, poor joint health and in young people genetics.

  • Elevated Blood Sugar
  • – eating a low glycemic diet, is one of the best ways to naturally boost ones vital hormones like their HGH Levels.

  • Reduced Capacity for Exercise
  • – with HGH and Testosterone hormone decline, finding motivation to exercise can be very difficult.

Hypogonadism often called Low T

Low-T (hypogonadism) or Low Testosterone is one of the most common causes of these psychological symptoms in older patients with no history of depression and anxiety in the past, and that do not have relatives that have experienced depression in the past. In order to effectively assess Testosterone Deficiency, it is important to both measure Free and Total Testosterone. A patient can have clinically normal Total Testosterone Levels and still have Testosterone Deficiency. It is the amount of Bioavailable Testosterone that is most important in the diagnosis of Testosterone Deficiency, not the total amount circulating through the blood stream. Treating testosterone deficiency with injectable testosterone cypionate, testosterone enanthate or testosterone propionate can provide relief when conducted with a proper hormone replacement protocol.

The main symptoms that can clue a doctor or patient into Testosterone Deficiency are reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, fat gain, muscle loss, fatigue, inhibited well-being, and year-round cold sensitivity, in addition to the psychological symptoms explained above. Because Testosterone Deficiency is a complex medical disorder, it is the collection of symptoms rather than the appearance of any single symptom that reveals the likelihood of Hypogonadism.

Hypothyroidism Commonly Leads to Feelings of Exhaustion, Anxiety, and Depression

Hypothyroidism isn’t as common as Testosterone Deficiency, but it can lead to severe issues related to metabolism and energy, which can directly impact psychological wellness. The Thyroid is the energy center for the brain, and if the thyroid isn’t producing sufficient amounts of particular hormones, it can lead to severe energy deficits. Thyroid Hormone Therapy is incredibly effective at normalizing metabolism and energy levels, but it can also take an extended period of time, often months, before it truly provides overwhelming benefits to the patient. Generally, Hypothyroidism is treated with Bio-Identical Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Therapy. Thyroid issues can lead to both major weight loss, or serious problems with obesity, because the thyroid plays a very important roll in metabolism. One should have blood analysis done every 3 months to measure their thyroid levels.

Depression Is a Common Symptom of Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian Cancer is a serious condition that often gets caught later than it should. One of the initial symptoms that women experience as a result of Ovarian Cancer is depression. This symptom often manifests in the patient in the months and years preceding more severe symptoms. By the time the most obvious symptoms of Ovarian Cancer become apparent, the patient is in much greater danger, because the cancer is usually in its later stages by the time these more powerful symptoms manifest. Women should go to their doctor quickly if they are experiencing feelings of depression, because this can potentially save their life. In other words hormone decline isn’t always the culprit when depression sets in.

Sleep Apnea and Restless Leg Syndrome Can Both Lead to Exhaustion, Fatigue, and Depression

Sleep Apnea is a medical condition in which a patient does not get healthy sleep, because their breathing becomes disrupted, depriving oxygen to the body and brain. If the condition becomes severe enough, the patient will often wake up with a start, gasping for air, but the condition often manifests as loud snoring. When a patient isn’t getting the restful sleep that they need, they wake up tired and exhausted, no matter how long that they stay in bed.

Hormone Therapy Can Effectively Treat Anxiety

On top of that, Sleep Apnea severely impacts the body’s natural production of Testosterone and Human Growth Hormone, because both of these hormones are primarily produced during sleep. As we mentioned earlier, Testosterone Deficiency is another cause of fatigue and depression, and patients with Sleep Apnea often experience significant psychological and metabolic symptoms resulting from their condition. Medical conditions not associated with low HGH or testosterone deficiency, can often cause these same hormones to decline.

Sleep Apnea is most effectively treated with breathing devices. Some patients do fine with specialized mouthpieces designed to facilitate airflow, whereas other patients need a CPAP Machine, which provides a steady stream of air to keep airways open. Severe sleep apnea sometimes requires surgery or other methods to correct.

Restless Leg Syndrome

Restless Leg Syndrome leads to similar issues, but with a different root source. Restless Leg Syndrome is a condition in which the patient is unable to keep their legs still during sleep, or they feel the uncomfortable urge to move their legs, which disrupts their sleep. This is a real neurological disorder, and it can prevent the patient from getting healthy sleep because they either have trouble falling asleep, or they can’t get restless sleep because of their unconscious movements.

Get Hormone Treatment from a reputable HGH and Testosterone Clinic

There are a number of medications that can lead to or exacerbate Restless Leg Syndrome, including MAO-Inhibitors, SSRIs, and any medication which suppresses dopamine, such as Reglan and certain antipsychotics. Commonly, Restless Leg Syndrome is treated with a low dose opiate, Klonopin, or Requip. What Can I Do to Increase My HGH Levels?

Posted: October 27, 2014 at 8:17 am

Since it is abundantly clear that maintaining optimal HGH Levels is helpful and beneficial, you’re likely wondering what you can do to support and sustain Human Growth Hormone Concentrations in the blood stream. There are three things that you can do to promote HGH Production: Weight Training, Healthy Sleep, and Good Diet.

Exercise for Increased HGH Levels

HGH Boosting TipsOne of the best ways to amplify your own natural Human Growth Hormone Production is through exercise, although some forms of exercise are superior to others with regard to encouraging HGH Production. The two forms of physical activity which produce the best HGH gains are anaerobic exercise and High Intensity-Interval Training.

Anaerobic exercise is anything that puts resistance-pressure on your muscles. Any activity that mimics the effects of weight lifting on the body is a form of anaerobic exercise. High Intensity-Interval Training is a form of activity in which you alternate pushing your body to the limit and active resting.

These activities are catabolic, and your body will respond by producing Human Growth Hormone to stimulate repair and balance your energy state. When you engage in these forms of activity, your muscles develop tiny, microscopic tears, which HGH production helps to heal, and in the process, this increases your strength. These forms of activity also encourage the body to burn fat, as glycogen energy stores become depleted.

There’s nothing better that you can do to naturally stimulate HGH release than perform these kinds of training.

Human Growth Hormone production can be manipulated, and if you want to maximize your HGH Production, it’s important to master this form of manipulation. Although high-intensity exercise increases HGH Secretion, there are limits to the HGH benefits that can be gained through physical activity. For example, it’s important to limit your training to 45 minutes per day, at least when you first begin a set regimen. This is because Growth Hormone Production plateaus during physical training, but after around 45 minutes, the body produces less Human Growth Hormone, and it starts producing more Cortisol. Cortisol is a stress hormone, and when your body produces too much of it, it can counteract the benefits of Testosterone and Human Growth Hormone.

Of course, that 45 minutes is just a baseline, and that number can be adjusted over time with sufficient training. For example, if you exercise consistently 4-6 times per week for a month, you can increase the length of time that you exercise and maintain HGH production for an extra 2 minutes. This means that, over the course of months, you’ll be able to engage in an hour of vigorous exercise per session while influencing your hormone production optimally.

The research regarding this has only been conducted over short periods of time, under a year in almost all circumstances. This means that, over a longer period of time, you may be able to push your body even further. In spite of this open-ended possibility, the vast majority of physical trainers recommend no more than an hour of high-intensity training.

Get Sufficient Rest to Maximize HGH Production

Boosting Growth Hormone LevelsAlthough you do produce Human Growth Hormone when you exercise and sporadically throughout the day, the vast majority of the HGH that you will release every day is while you are asleep. The body secretes 3/4s of its daily Human Growth Hormone Production in the hours that you are asleep, and this HGH is produced primarily when you are in REM-Sleep.

Because of this reality, it is vitally important to get a healthy night’s sleep every night if you want to have ideal hormone levels. It is true that your body will produce some HGH while you are in even the most fitful of sleeps, but it’s important to engage in deep, restful sleep in order to get your Hormone Balance in order. The same goes for Testosterone, which is also produced mostly while you are asleep.

Growth Hormone produced during rest is devoted mostly to rejuvenation and rehabilitation. It helps your body rebuild energy stores depleted as a result of the activities of the previous day. HGH produced via exercise promotes a heightened level of activity and improves output, and is directed more efficiently by the human body.

If you are interested in maximizing the gains from your physical exercise and simply want look and feel better, you should make the concerted effort to get eight to ten hours of healthy sleep per night. Wake up when you feel most invigorated, and maintain that good habit.

In addition to getting a full night’s sleep, make sure you get that sleep at around the same time each night. There is evidence that sleeping at the same time every night and establishing a strong pattern increases the amount of time that you spend in REM Sleep, and therefore enhances your natural Hormone Production.

Of course, we all know that sometimes you go out a little too late on the weekends, or factors out of your control alter your sleep/wake times. There are ways to mitigate the circadian impact of these altered habits, however. For example, if you normally sleep from 11-7, but you stay out until 2am on Friday night, wake up at 11am on Saturday and take an hour long nap later in the day for the next three days. This way, you can average out your sleep debt and minimize the effect that it has on your normal schedule.

Good Nutrition to Maximize HGH Levels

Diet and nutrition are also vitally important for maximizing your HGH Production and therefore maximizing the benefits of your workout regimen. If you are interested in increasing muscle mass and tone, nutrition is the key that amplifies the benefits of exercise and healthy sleep.

Human Growth Hormone Boosting for HealthThere has been a lot of research into Human Growth Hormone Secretagogues. Secretagogues are hormones which increase or improve the production of other hormones. In order for your body to effectively make the most Human Growth Hormone, you need to provide the body with all of the appropriate building blocks needed, the most important of which are amino acids. Of course, if you take amino acid supplements, or eat fortified foods containing amino acids, it’s important to ensure that a round fifteen to twenty percent of your calories that you intake today are clean fats.

Clean fats are natural fats such as Omega-3 Fatty Acids, Omega-6 Fatty Acids, and Saturated Fats, which promote healthy cholesterol levels which are necessary to produce hormones effectively. Unsaturated and Polyunsaturated Fats should be a minority of the fat calories that you intake daily, and you should avoid trans fats by all means necessary.

If you take amino acid supplements, take them around forty-five minutes before you exercise in order to amplify HGH Production optimally. The following amino acids play a role in Human Growth Hormone Production, and you can use them as part of your pre-workout supplementation:

5 to 8 grams of Arginine – Arginine is one of the primary amino acids which facilitate HGH Production. In fact, Arginine is used in HGH Testing in order to determine the health of the pituitary gland.

4 to 7 grams of Ornithine – Ornithine is the second most important amino acid with regard to HGH Production. Arginine and Ornithine are important components of Human Growth Hormone, and when taken simultaneously, they increase the benefits of one another.

5 grams of Glutamine – Glutamine isn’t directly responsible for HGH Production, but this amino acid performs some of the same ancillary functions as Arginine, and allows the body to use Arginine for HGH Production more effectively.

3 to 10 grams of Glycine – Glycine has been shown to be an effective supplement to both increase HGH Release during exercise and as a means to boost production during sleep.

3 to 6 grams of Branch-Chain Amino Acids – These amino acids facilitate the processes which enhance muscle repair and building. When combined with Human Growth Hormone, the results are maximized.

Trace Supplementation of Lysine and GABA – These amino acids can benefit HGH production and weight training gains, but they should not be taken at the same time as the previously mentioned supplements. These amino acids are associated with relaxation and calmness, and many take these amino acids in order to facilitate metabolism post-workout.

There are other important nutrients that help you produce maximum HGH. Among these are antioxidants, Vitamin B2, and Vitamin C.

Of course, the suggested doses are intended for individuals looking to maximize their workout capacity. For those that are looking for physiological benefits but aren’t necessarily looking to bulk up, smaller doses taken in the morning or just before bed can provide great benefits.

By taking the Amino Acids above at the quantities listed, it is possible to enhance natural, baseline Human Growth Hormone production by around fifty percent. In addition to the supplementation above, you’ll also ideally be getting plenty of a variety of amino acids from the protein in your diet.

When Should You Turn to HGH Therapy?

Using the tips above, you can do wonders for your HGH Production, but aging still limits the potential gains of your day-to-day lifestyle regimen. Over time, your body will lose its ability to produce HGH as efficiently as it did when you were younger. Many men and women never reach the point where their HGH Levels become so low that it seriously hinders their health, but many others reach a point where reduced Growth Hormone Production reduces energy levels, body composition, and psychological well-being, just to name a few issues related to the condition.

If, as you grow older, you start to feel the limits of your natural Hormone Balance, it would benefit you to contact a health professional to have your Hormone Levels checked. With a simple physical and blood test, it is possible to create a revealing snapshot of your underlying hormone balance, and your physician can offer his or her opinion regarding what you can do to improve your Hormone Balance and whether HGH Injection Therapy or other Hormone Replacement Products can help you optimize your health and wellness.

There is a lot of promising research with regard to HGH Therapy, as well as other associated therapies designed to improve health and wellness via the same mechanism. For example, Sermorelin Acetate and Tesamorelin Acetate are both Hormone Treatments which have the capacity to enhance HGH Production. They do so by imitating the function of GH-RH in the blood stream. In fact, these hormones have the same physiological effect on the body as Human Growth Hormone.

Sermorelin and Tesamorelin are commonly prescribed for patients suffering from Age-Associated HGH Deficiency, and these hormones actually have a slightly better safety profile than Human Growth Hormone. They are also cheaper, which many patients find appealing. Finally, Sermorelin is available off-label, unlike Human Growth Hormone. Unfortunately, HGH, in spite of its immense potential benefits, is highly restricted as a medication, owing largely to its use as a Performance Enhancing Drug. Your physician may find that you qualify for Sermorelin or Tesamorelin Therapy even if you don’t qualify for HGH Therapy just yet.

Many people call Sermorelin injections the poor mans human growth hormone (HGH) injections treatment program for adult men and women. The reason is HGH and Sermorelin do exactly the same thing, which is ultimately stimulate IGF-1 from the liver with the result being the stimulation of cell regeneration in the human body.

Why are the Benefits of Sermorelin Injections are the exact same as HGH Injections?

The benefits and side effects of HGH and Sermorelin are identical, but Sermorelin works better with the hypothalamus-pituitary-liver regulation axis, where as HGH does not. In lay persons terms when you inject HGH unless the doses are small, they are not natural like the ones your body releases in pituitary bursts about 30 times in a single day. With Sermorelin you are stimulating your pituitary gland to release HGH, not putting HGH into your body, there is a big difference, and the fact of the matter is that after decades of rave reviews for the benefits of Growth Hormone injection treatment, people are now starting to switch to Sermorelin because it is usually about half the price.

What are Adult Men and Women Saying About Sermorelin and Testosterone Injections Treatment Programs?

The number of people who are suffering from HGH and Testosterone hormone deficiency have reported that they got the best anti-aging results from a growth hormone treatment program that was exclusive utilizing Sermorelin Injections and Low Testosterone Replacement Therapy programs.

Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is an attempt to increase the bodies growth hormone levels to the their natural peak, offsetting the decline that begines in your early 20s.

Human Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy is the process of increasing a patients HGH levels through diet, exercise, and the use of HGH Supplements.

Simple, youre getting OLDER! There is no logical reason to ignore that simple fact, and every reason to accept it and start actively dealing with it.

Look at what modern medicine consists of today. Its all about treating the symptoms of aging, such as heart disease, obesity, and diabetes, among many others.

Benefits of HGH:

The goal of Anti-Aging Medicine is to cure aging. The primary research being done now is in identifying the aging process. Human beings spend the majority of their lifes in a state of constant degradation, or slowly dying. This process is amazingly complex, yet in a very short period of time these scientists have made great strides in understanding the underlying processes of human aging, and the effect human growth hormone has on the aging process. Learn about the benefits of HGH Therapy today!

Aging is a disease. HGH might be able to reverse some of the symptoms of premature aging.

SAIZEN HGH: Human Growth Hormone Product

causes of elevated levels hgh hrt health

Saizen Human Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy

Saizen is one of a small, but growing number of legal HGH Hormone Replacement Therapy medications in the United States. Saizen is produced by the pharmaceutical manufacturer Merck Serono. Merck Serono is one of the largest drug manufacturers in the world, and is based in Geneva, Switzerland. This company is not to be confused with the domestic pharmaceutical company Merck & Company, and in North America, Merck Serono is known as EMD Serono. Saizen is an injectable form of Synthetic Human Growth Hormone.

The History of HGH

Originally, HGH Hormone Treatments were made from real Growth Hormone harvested from human tissue, but in the year 1981, medical researchers were able to figure out a way to synthetically produce Bio-Identical HGH in a laboratory. Before it was possible to manufacture Bio-Identical Human Growth Hormone, HGH treatments were far more costly than they are today, and as a result of this breakthrough, and others since, Human Growth Hormone Injectable Therapy has continued to become cheaper and more affordable to the average consumer.

Saizen Human Growth Hormone is Simple and Easy to Use

Saizen HGH follows in that legacy of making Growth Hormone cheaper and easier to use. The following are a number of products released by Serono in order to perform HGH Hormone Replacement Therapy:

Saizen HGH Therapy Administration Devices

Saizen Cool.Click HGH Treatment

The Saizen cool.click is a revolutionary means of delivering Human Growth Hormone. Although the HGH is still delivered subcutaneously via injection, the Saizen cool.click does not need a needle! The cool.click works by creating a small hole through which Saizen Human Growth Hormone is delivered. This tiny hole is produced using a spring mechanism. In the past, many people have been nervous about HGH Hormone Replacement because before this point, the only way to deliver HGH was directly through a potentially imposing needle. Many people just can’t commit to any medical therapy which requires them to stick themselves with a needle every day.

Although the Saizen cool.click was the first needle-free means of delivering HGH Hormone Replacement Therapy, EMD Sorono has updated the design to increase ease of use, comfort, and accuracy, with an updated version known as the Saizen cool.click2.

EMD Serono lists the following features of the Saizen cool.click2:

Needle-less delivery This form of HGH Delivery vastly reduces needle anxiety.

Easy-to-read LCD monitor The monitor displays dosing information and can ensure that a patient delivers exactly enough Saizen HGH in order to properly treat his or her HGH Deficiency.

Thoughtful shape and design the Saizen cool.click2 is ergonomically configured in order to maximize ease of use.

Reduced noise the cool.click2 is much quieter than its previous design, allowing you to deliver HGH without bringing attention to yourself.

Reverse dosage dialing this mechanism allows the patient to adjust and readjust dosage at any point before administering HGH Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Alterable injection pressure This HGH Injection Tool lets you adjust the rate at which the spring mechanism pierces the skin, allowing you to minimize potential discomfort at the injection site.

Safer than needles Because of the way that the cool.click2 is designed, there is virtually no risk of accidentally pricking yourself. The spring mechanism only exposes itself at your command, and you don’t have to cautiously prepare a needle for every injection.

Delivers doses in both milligrams and milliliters the cool.click2 can adapt to different measurement scales, allowing you to dose accurately in regard to both mass and volume.

HGH Therapy with Saizen Easypod

Like the Saizen cool.click, the Saizen easypod is another product produced by EMD Serono which is designed with comfort and ease of use particularly in mind. The easypod is a simple-to-use injection device which quickly and accurately delivers injections of Bio-Identical HGH.

The easypod is what is known as an easy injector. This means that the easypod is a means to deliver injections of HGH without the vigorous protocol of a standard needle injection. The Saizen easypod has the capability of quickly and automatically titrating the appropriate dose of HGH. Upon pressing the trigger button, the machine automatically provides an injection of Human Growth Hormone, minimizing the amount of potential contact the you will make with the needle.

The Saizen easypod exclusively uses cartridges known as Saizen click.easy in order to deliver the intended dosage. The click.easy device serves two primary purposes. First, the click.easy is a reconstitution device. The Saizen Human Growth Hormone is combined with a fully sanitized solution in order both to rehydrate anhydrous HGH and to convert the Human Growth Hormone into a deliverable form. Second, the click.easy is a delivery device.

The click.easy is designed and shaped in a way which allows the patient to use it in combination with the Saizen easypod in order to maximize safety and ease of delivery. The Saizen easypod can be used repeatedly in order to deliver HGH injections as long as it is properly maintained, and new needles are use for every injection. The easypod has a large monitor which allows patients of all ages to easily see and understand the instructions and options provided by the device.

The easypod also provides multiple means of decreasing discomfort associated with injection. The individual patient can adjust injection administration via four distinct settings: Needle Speed, Injection Speed, Injection Depth, Injection Time.

HGH Easypod Settings

Needle Speed This setting adjusts the speed at which the needle is injected through the skin. Using this method is much more precise than performing a manual injection.

Injection Speed This refers to the rate by which the Saizen Human Growth Hormone is delivered into the body. This setting is a substitute for manually adjusting the speed using the plunger of a needle.

Injection Depth With this setting, you can alter the depth at which the needle descends. Dependent upon the location of the injection, different depths may be required. In addition to this, some may find that deeper injections cause increased discomfort. Injection depth also depends upon which needle the patient uses.

Injection Time This prompt controls the amount of time that the needle remains in the skin after injection. Some patients find it more comfortable to increase the time between injection and needle removal.

The Saizen easypod also maintains a diary of past injections, allowing both you and your physician to have a record of your injection schedule. The goal of the Saizen easypod is to reduce the effort it takes to undergo safe and effective Human Growth Hormone Injections while also minimizing pain or discomfort which can result from the use of needles. The easypod even allows you to input expiration dates to ensure that you dispose of your reconstituted synthetic Human Growth Hormone as soon as it becomes expired and ineffective.

Saizen one.click HGH Injector

The Saizen one.click is another means of injecting Saizen Human Growth Hormone. Like the easypod, the one.click is another injection device which focuses on being easy to use. The one.click is a much simpler device than the easypod. This product is mechanical only and features no monitor or electrical equipment of any kind.

The one.click has an adjustable dial which controls how much Human Growth Hormone you inject in a single dose. In addition to this, you can also adjust the depth of the needle injection manually. One of the primary advantages of the Saizen one.click is that it is simple to store and easy to carry and conceal. Also, because the one.click is a completely mechanical device, it is cheaper than the easypod while also being easier to use than a standard injection.

The Saizen one.click automatically delivers the HGH injection with a single click, minimizing the time it takes to deliver the injection. The device itself also minimizes potential inappropriate contact with the needle as well. As with all forms of Recombinant Human Growth Hormone, the reconstituted solution should be stored at temperatures between 36 and 46 degrees Fahrenheit in order for the hormone to remain effective and useful.

Saizen click.easy

The Saizen click.easy is the simplest injection device that Merck-Serono provides. This product still has the capability of injecting HGH Hormone Replacement Therapy quicker and more simply than a standard injection, but lacks all of the bells and whistles associated with the other Saizen Delivery Devices. This product still minimizes needle exposure and also delivers a subcutaneous injection with a single click, however. This device is for patients who want a quick and easy way to inject HGH Therapy without the need or desire to make more precise adjustments with other more high-tech injection devices.

How is Saizen HGH Supplied?

Saizen is generally provided to the patient via two means:

HGH Direct Injection

For patients who are not interested in using the Saizen Delivery devices listed above, there is the option of simply delivering the Human Growth Hormone via needle and syringe. For patients who are interested in administering HGH in this way, Saizen is available in vials. Saizen vials are available in two different sizes. Both 5 milligram vials and 8.8 milligram vials are available. These vials contain lyophilized Bio-Synthetic Human Growth Hormone. HGH is highly sensitive in its normal form, and must be freeze-dried and hermetically sealed in order to survive periods of extended storage and transport. When the Saizen is ready to be used, the powdered HGH must be reconstituted with a diluent. The diluent is a sterilized, clear solution that does not interact with the HGH molecule and can deliver the medication into subcutaneous tissue.

HGH Cartridge Delivery

For patients who wish to use delivery devices such as those listed above, Merck-Serono provides Saizen HGH Cartridges which are designed especially to be used with Saizen Human Growth Hormone Administration Devices. Saizen cartridges contain both lyophilized Human Growth Hormone and the sterilized diluent, separated by a small barrier. When you are ready to use the Saizen HGH Cartridge in one of the devices listed above, you will insert the cartridge into the device and follow the instructions provided with the device in order to combine and reconstitute the solution. After the cartridge of Human Growth Hormone has been activated and given time to fully hydrate, the solution is ready for injection. There are a few different options for the Saizen Cartridge, and these options are dependent upon both the size and strength of your individual dose.

Saizen Questions

At what Temperature Should Saizen be Stored?

Like all forms of Bio-Identical Human Growth Hormone, Saizen must be properly stored in order to remain potent. Lyophilized Saizen which has not been combined with diluent can be safely stored at room temperature (between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit). After reconstitution, Saizen should always be refrigerated, except when it is immediately going to be used for injection. Reconstituted Saizen HGH should be stored between temperatures of 36 and 46 degrees Fahrenheit.

Does Saizen Contain Preservatives?

Saizen does contain preservatives in order to maximize the length of time that HGH is stable and usable. The vial form of Saizen contains benzyl alcohol, and the cartridge form of Saizen contains metacresol.

How Often Should I Take Saizen Injections?

The frequency with which you administer HGH Hormone Injections is completely dependent upon your physician’s advice. Generally, injections are delivered once daily, just before bed, but there are a number of other options available which will not have a negative effect on your therapy. Nightly injections are thought to have the most beneficial effect on sleep and the cortisol cycle. Some prefer to take their doses early in the morning, or before engaging in exercise. Injecting before exercise is believed by some to increase the effectiveness of exercise, reducing fatigue and feeling of exhaustion. Some physicians even recommend that certain patients take two small doses each day rather than one larger dose once per day. It all depends on your age, goals, and needs as a patient.

What Are Saizen’s Side-Effects?

The majority of patients will suffer from no side effects, or only the most minor symptoms. The most common symptoms are injection site irritation and possible headaches. Adult patients may rarely experience increased blood sugar, joint pain, and swelling as a result of Saizen. If any of these symptoms occur, please talk to your doctor.

The Truth About the Zone Diet

The Truth About the Zone Diet

One of the most effective ways to safeguard your health, live longer, and alleviate the impact of aging on your body is to eat a good diet. The Conscious Evolution Institute offers strong diet and nutrition plans in combination with our various Hormone Replacement Therapy options in order to help you maximize the potential benefits of therapy. The Age-Free Zone Diet is one of many viable diet options if you are looking to improve your health and reduce your risk of a number of Age-Related Medical Conditions

Age-Free Zone Diet

This diet was created by a man named Doctor Barry Sears. The goal of this diet is to simultaneously help you lose weight and help you live an optimized life full of vitality. The central premise of the Age-Free Zone Diet is that there certain factors which contribute to the aging process which can be controlled, and that four of the factors which speed up the aging process the fastest are free radicals, cortisol, blood glucose, and insulin. The goal of this diet is to control and reduce the levels of these Aging-Associated Factors through lifestyle and diet so that you can balance them in order to significantly reduce your mortality risk.

Zone Diet Overview

Goal of the diet is to balance hormone levels in order to slow down aging

Calorie-restricted diet high in protein and low in carbohydrates

Involves the use of diet supplements

Who Should Consider the Zone Diet?

This diet is best for individuals that love meats like chicken, fish, and pork, and also for individuals that don’t feel that they can completely restrict their carbohydrate consumption but would be able to limit their consumption modestly.

Who Should Not Consider The Zone Diet?

This diet is not suitable for individuals that need to limit their protein consumption, such as individuals with kidney problems. If you have Type-Two Diabetes, you should discuss this diet with your physician before initiating your plan because most medical professionals recommend eating slightly more carbohydrates than are allowed in this diet.

The Specifics of the Zone Diet

This diet is not explicitly designed as a plan to lose weight, but caloric-restriction plays a significant role in the diet, making it also effective for people that want to lose weight. Sears is a fan of caloric restriction because he is of the opinion that restricting calories is an effective means to limit the impact of aging even in individuals at a healthy weight.

The Age-Free Zone Diet is a combination of lifestyle changes and diet, which combine in an effort to optimize health and wellness. The three primary factors of this health plan are dieting, moderate physical activity, and meditation.

Although lifestyle choices play a big role in this diet, the primary focus of the plan is scaling back calories consumed in the daily diet by avoiding simple carbs and limiting total carb consumption. By tightly controlling the consumption of carbohydrates, the body does not rely so heavily on insulin, which is responsible for converting carbohydrates into glucose.

In addition to controlling insulin, the diet plan also impacts the balance of a number of different hormones, including Melatonin, DHEA, Testosterone, Human Growth Hormone, Progesterone, Estrogen, and Thyroid Hormone, all of which are important to maintain properly in order to optimize one’s health. In men, for example, efforts are made to optimize Testosterone and Human Growth Hormone Secretion and to limit DHEA and Estrogen Levels in the body.

How Does the Zone Diet Slow Down the Effects of Aging?

Based upon the theory behind this diet, Caloric Restriction is an effective means both to lose weight while also limiting the negative impacts of elevated Insulin and Blood Sugar. Living by this health plan also limits the impact of Free Radicals on health. Free Radicals are the byproducts of oxygen reactions in the body which can damage cells if not controlled effectively.

Sears does not recommend severe caloric restriction, however. The goal of his diet is to intake just enough carbs to function optimally without experiencing unnecessary side-effects of over consumption. Maintaining these limited-yet-optimal levels will still give your body all the energy it needs to sustain itself effectively while also keeping Insulin, Glucose, and Free Radicals in check.

A high-protein, low-carb diet is the central feature of this diet plan, but the Zone Diet also involves the use of anti-aging supplements and antioxidants. In spite of these recommendations, Sears insists that exercise and foods play the most significant role in balancing hormone production in order to enhance longevity.

How is the Age-Free Zone Diet Organized?

The Zone Diet takes a common approach to stimulate metabolism: spreading out meals and snacks throughout the day. In the case of this particular method, the dieter will ideally eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner with two snacks distributed between meals. Every meal will involve four courses per meal for men, and three courses per meal for women. Each meal will have one source of fat, one source of carbohydrates, and one source of protein. This diet plan even comes with a diet cookbook which provides fourteen days worth of meals as well as a number of additional, helpful recipes.

To provide a more clear vision of what you can expect from your meals with this diet, breakfast might involve fruit salad, low-fat cheese, and soy patties. Lunch would involve reduced-fat cheese, turkey breast, lightly dressed tossed salad, and a fruit choice. An example of a Zone Diet Dinner would be grilled fish, grapes, green beans, and tomatoes topped with olive oil and Parmesan cheese.

In addition to meal plans, the Age-Free Zone Diet Book will provide you with examples of a number of quality choices for your meals and snacks in general, and provide you with knowledge needed to maintain a healthy diet.

The Rules of the Zone Diet

Eat within an hour of waking up.

Never wait for longer than five hours between meals and snacks. Eat something light even if you aren’t hungry.

Every snack and meal should involve protein.

Place an emphasis on vegetables and fruits and make strong efforts to cut back starches, grains, pastas, and breads.

Never skip snacks.

Consume at least sixty four ounces of healthy drinks every day.

Always have a small snack a half-hour before physical exercise.

How Do Nutrition Experts Feel about the Age-Free Zone Diet?

Experts agree that there are a lot of good ideas behind the Zone Diet, but there are certain aspects which have not been fully proven. One niggling point with regard to the Zone Diet is that Sears asserts that an important aspect of the diet is discovering ideal carbohydrate consumption to slow down aging, but he makes no special effort to help the potential dieter to discover what that personal limit is. The Diet Plan also provides no specific information regarding how to make the diet fit the needs of the individual.

A lot of what Sears supports is backed by compelling medical research. Responsible caloric restriction is highly correlated with reduced mortality. Elevated Insulin Levels do wreak havoc on the body and increase the risk of conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Finally, free radicals do have the capability to damage healthy cells and increase the rate of aging from wear and tear as well as potentially damage the genes themselves.

The potential issue with regard to these scientifically-backed aspects of Sears’ diet approach is that he takes the basic scientific wisdom and goes further, inferring benefits that may or not be the reality. One major issue that many nutritionists have with this diet is that the Zone Diet involves a lot of unneeded supplements that are sometimes combined in potentially damaging ways.

The Zone Diet is based on 1,500 calories per day for males and 1,200 calories per day for females. This level of caloric restriction will guarantee weight loss for individuals that are overweight or obese, but his plan does not provide necessary levels of certain nutrients, such as calcium and B-Vitamins, from nutrition alone. The lack of these vitamins from the diet is mitigated through the use of mineral and vitamin supplements.

In general, this diet recommends too much protein and not enough fiber and carbs. The result of this is that you may experience constipation and fatigue. Also, Sears believes that this diet is ideal for men and women with Type-Two Diabetes, but most experts with experience with diabetes patients generally advocate a diet with more carbs than the Zone Diet recommends. Of course, you could take the advice of the Zone Diet and alter it slightly to account for these dietary discrepancies in order to amplify the positive potential of a diet of this kind.

Still, the diet is too high in protein and too low in complex carbohydrates and fiber, which could leave you low on energy and constipated. And while Sears advocates the diet for people with type 2 diabetes, most diabetes experts recommend a diet much higher in carbohydrates than the plan provided in the book.

Age-Free Zone Diet Approved Recommendations:

Healthy Fats, Limited Complex Carbs, Proteins with Every Meal, Vegetables, Fruits, Caloric Restriction

Age-Free Zone Diet Things to Avoid:

Low-Fiber, Processed, High Fat, and High Carb Foods

Sermorelin is a synthetic drug which is derived from GH-RH, which is also known as Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone. GH-RH is the hormone responsible for the production of Human Growth Hormone, commonly referred to as HGH. GH-RH is secreted by the hypothalamus and functions as a chemical messenger which sends the signal to the pituitary to secrete more Human Growth Hormone to be delivered throughout the body.

Sermorelin is not naturally produced by the human body, but it is functionally identical to Growth-Hormone Releasing Hormone produced by the human body. Sermorelin contains the same initial 44 proteins that are present in GH-RH, and scientists and researchers have discovered that this truncated version of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone is the shortest known derivative that produces an identical effect upon the body as GH-RH, which is to enhance pituitary secretion of HGH.

In our preteen and early teenage years, Human Growth Hormone is primarily responsible for the increase in growth rate associated with puberty. Children that suffer from a deficiency in Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone do not produce sufficient levels of Human Growth Hormone and therefore do not grow at the same rate as their peers. Human beings complete the process of normal growth and reach their final adult height after the epiphyseal plates of their long bones close at the end of puberty.

After this point, the role of Human Growth Hormone changes, yet the role of GH-RH remains the same. After puberty, the body needs to produce sufficient levels of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone that allow the body to secrete the HGH that it needs to sustain itself at peak condition, allowing us to enjoy maximum vitality and health. GH-RH allows the body to function optimally as it was meant to function.

Unfortunately, production of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone by the pituitary drops as we age, and this reduction in endogenous production of GH-RH is directly correlated with reduced release of Human Growth Hormone, which inevitably leads to a rapidly sped up aging process. At age twenty, the human body produces an optimal level of adult Human Growth Hormonearound five hundred micrograms each day. By the time we reach our late twenties to early thirties, the levels of endogenous Human Growth Hormone that we produce decreases at a seemingly marginal rate of one to two percent each year. Over time, however, this constant decline accumulates, leaving our bodies grossly deficient in Human Growth Hormone. By the time we reach the age of eighty, the human body only secretes around sixty micrograms of Human Growth Hormone dailyoften even less! In otherwise healthy adults, an HGH level of around two hundred micrograms is considered low.

The effects of Human Growth Hormone Deficiency begin to become more pronounced as we enter our late thirties and early forties. At this point, our deficiency in Human Growth Hormone begins to greatly under-perform and our bodies start to age more rapidly. Rapid aging is not inevitable, however. And Sermorelin Therapy is a fantastic means by which to alleviate the effects of age in away that allows us to grow old in a healthy way that does not take from us our vitality.

Human Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy is effective at treating Human Growth Hormone Deficiency, but it may not be the most efficient way to restore optimal hormone production. It may only be covering up an underlying problem.

What are Sermorelin Acetate Hormone Injections?

Posted: November 10, 2013 at 7:42 pm

Every single week will will update this web site with the newest information, research, science, medicine and products associated with Sermorelin Injections. We intend to provide you with the latest knowledge about Sermorelin sermorelin medical treatments, and also information about sermorelin scams, so you can see what companies are promoting fake sermorelin, so you can avoid them.

What are Sermorelin Acetate Injections?

Initially developed decades ago, Sermorelin Acetate is an analogue of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) or a shortened peptide of the 44 amino acids of GHRH reduced to 29 amino acids. Why should one inject only the 29 amino acid chain version to stimulate the human body, instead of the 44 amino acids our hypothalamus naturally produces? Because the 29 amino acid chain is the minimum necessary for Growth Hormone (HGH) stimulation by the pituitary gland and its easier and more affordable to make thus saving you money on your Sermorelin shots. Sometimes when compounding Sermorelin Acetate shots, GHRP-6 is added to the mixture when requested, this is another growth hormone releasing factor. The goal of these kinds of peptide and secretegogue shots are to stimulate Human Growth Hormone production in the body. The medical term for a hormone that stimulates another hormone is secretegogue, and sermorelin is a secretegogue of HGH, in the same way that HGH is a secretegogue of IGF-1 or Insulin-like Growth Factor 1, also called somatomedin C. Hopefully your eyes havent glazed over from all these complex terms, from here on out everything will be put in more simple language, laypersons or laymans terms.

What is the Sermorelin treatment and HGH Injection Connection

HGH Human Growth Hormone (Growth Hormone) is secreted the most at night when one is in the deepest of REM sleep (usually just before dawn), but Growth Hormone is also released during the entire 24 hour day cycle in small spikes. HGH is critical in maintaining the organs and tissues in our body, because it stimulates regeneration, and thus without it, we are fall apart, and experience symptoms of age related disease more rapidly as they accumulate. HGH levels are highest during youth and puberty, but then decline once our body has reached it mature size, and HGH production summits in our youth. When we reach our 30 to 40 range, the decline of hgh accelerates at a rough loss of 15% a decade or about 1 to 2 percent each and every calendar year that passes. At the age of 40, our hgh levels are less than half of what they were when we were in our early 20s. By using growth hormone releasing factors and peptides, or growth hormone releasing hormone stimulation via the form of sermorelin shots, before one goes to bed, the production of hgh during the sleep cycle is dramatically improved. Sleep is when we regenerate our bodies. With higher release of hgh during our sleep, we tend to wake up more rejuvenated the next day, our bodies feel more connected, tighter, younger, our minds crisp and energetic, but the good news is sermorelin injections are much more affordable than HGH injections. More people are turning to sermorelin injections each and every day, because the cost is more affordable. The patients who report the best results with a hormone treatment program for men or women, do sermorelin and testosterone injections in conjunction. If you would like to learn more about the anti-aging properties of Sermorelin injections contact the Conscious Evolution Medical Institute of Hormone Treatment for Men and Women.

What are the Benefits of Sermorelin injections?

The benefits of sermorelin acetate injections are the same as with hgh shots, but sermorelin works much better with the hypothalamus, pituitary gland and liver complex, than HGH. The most outward visible benefits of sermorelin treatments include tighter, softer and plumper, supple skin your skin will look more like it did when you were younger. With Sermorelin injections Wrinkles decline, skin sagging is reduced and thin skin firms up and holds more water, as skin cells were generally, when one is at a younger age. Some have reported that age spots decline with sermorelin shots as well. People tend to report a renewed sense of vitality and mental clarity with sermorelin, alleviating many of the health problems and maladies associated with aging. Weight loss, and muscle development comes with sermorelin shots too, as it causes the metabolism to increase and one can burn fat more easily and develop muscle, if one incorporates an exercise program.

How does one determine the dosage of Sermorelin?

A simple blood test in the form of a hormone panel for men and women, is all that is required to determine how much injectable sermorelin you should use during a hormone replacement program. Sermorelin injections are typically done 5 days a week in what is called 5 days on and two days off. The injections are typically done at night time, and the patient should go to sleep on an empty stomach for the maximum benefits. Do not consume sugar or dairy before sleeping, as these items can interfere with your hgh production. Remember to always keep your sermorelin stored in the refrigerator, not on the door, but in a safe spot, where it wont get bumped into or rattled around. You might also want to avoid putting it anywhere in the refrigerator where it is the coldest, if there is a risk of freezing. In other words there are some spots in refrigerators that have a higher risk of freezing than other areas of the same refrigerator, and we are not talking about the freezer, but the actual refrigerator. There are places in refrigerators that are colder than other places, so keep that in mind.

health do hgh treatment work over 40

Nutropin Hormone Replacement Therapy

If you are over the age of thirty, you may not fully recognize how Human Growth Hormone Deficiency can impact the body. In our early development, all the way through our teenage years, the primary function of HGH is to help us grow taller and help us develop into healthy adults. But did you know that Growth Hormone Levels naturally impact health at all stages of the life span?

If you are thinking about choosing Nutropin for the treatment of HGH Deficiency, the goal of this article is to help you understand Nutropin HGH Therapy and how it can benefit and improve your life. Although it is incredibly important to discuss these issues and medical treatments with a qualified physician, it is beneficial to both you and your doctor that you are as fully informed as possible.

Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding Nutropin Injection Treatments.

Nutropin FAQ

What is Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency?

Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency (abbreviated AGHD) is a medical condition that arises when the Human Pituitary Gland (located near the base of the brain) does not naturally release enough Human Growth Hormone. This medical issue is also sometimes referred to as Somatotropin Deficiency.
What Causes AGHD?

In adulthood, there a number of reasons why GH Levels can become lower than normal. Some of these reasons are the result of medical illnesses. For example:

Tumors of the Pituitary Gland can alter the normal physiological release of hormones, including Biological HGH. Surgery in or around the Pituitary can damage the gland, reducing or eliminating its capacity to produce Growth Hormone. Cancer Radiation Treatments can render Somatotrophs inside the Pituitary Gland nonfunctional. Head injuries such as severe concussions can damage the pituitary as well, due to both blunt force trauma and swelling.

In addition to these medical causes of Low HGH, the body slowly begins to lose its ability to produce Endogenous Human Growth Hormone as a natural result of aging. Although not pathological, this can still severely limit human health and potential, and many patients choose Nutropin or other forms of HGH Replacement in order to alleviate the effects of this natural deficiency.

What Are the Types of HGH Deficiency?

Adults with Low Human Growth Hormone Levels can generally be split into two primary groups:

Most Adults develop Growth Hormone Deficiency during adulthood, as a result of Natural Physiological HGH Decline, or as a result of medical issues during adulthood. These patients are considered to have Adult-onset HGH Deficiency. Some patients have experienced Issues with HGH Secretion their entire lives. These patients have what is called Childhood-onset Human Growth Hormone Deficiency.

The difference between the two forms of deficiency share some similarity between Type-One and Type-Two Diabetes. Some patients are just born with the issue, and others develop it during adulthood for a variety of reasons.

How can Nutropin HGH Treatments Benefit Me as an Adult?

Even though HGH is the most important requirement for growth and development, most potently during puberty, the human body needs Human Growth Hormone throughout the lifespan. Just because our bodies have stopped growing in height doesn’t mean that the growth stimulating effects of the hormone are no longer beneficial in adulthood.

Medical researchers and clinical scientists have found that Somatotropin Deficiency can lead to numerous physiological issues, many of which are related to the aging process, including:

Increased Body-fat Decreased Muscle Mass Fuzzy Memory Hindered Mental Cognition Poor Cholesterol Low Energy Weakened Immune System Increased Injury Rehabilitation Time Sleeping Disorder

I’m Taking Other Medications for Hormone Optimization. Why Should I also Consider Nutropin Injections?

Dependent upon the root cause of Adult-Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency, patients may be taking other Hormone Replacement Therapies in addition to HGH. Although the Pituitary Gland is most widely recognized for the release of Endogenous HGH, the Pituitary is also responsible for the release of a number of different hormones as well. Sometimes issues with the Hypothalamus also contribute to symptoms related to Growth Hormone Deficiency.

All hormones released by the pituitary are delivered through the body via the circulatory system. After the Pituitary Gland releases hormones into the blood, each hormone circulates to different target organs or tissues in order to accomplish particular important goals. Human Growth Hormone is released by the pituitary and is responsible for a number of different vital functions, including:

Childhood Growth Muscle Development Weight Control Healthy Sleep Mental and Cognitive Optimization Energy Maintenance and Fatigue Reduction Improved Cholesterol Profile.

Although Human Growth Hormone produces a number of benefits and performs many vital functions, other hormones released by the pituitary also impact physical health in ways that alter the release and benefits provided by HGH.

It is important to discuss any and all medications that you are taking with a medical specialist in order to ensure that Nutropin Growth Hormone Injections are right for you. In some cases, your medications may not permit you to use this therapy. In other cases, medications that you are taking may simply lead your Hormone Specialist to alter your dosage in order to optimize your HGH Benefits.

It is also important to inform your Prescribing Growth Hormone Physician about any supplements you take or vitamin regimens you engage in. Human Growth Hormone HRT is usually combined with Dietary and Nutritional Guidelines in order to increase the effectiveness of treatment, and your current health choices can help your doctor tailor your HGH Plan in ways that can help you get the most out of therapy.

What are the Forms of Adult-Onset GH Deficiency?

There are two forms of Adult Onset HGH Deficiency, and there are different ways to diagnose each form of deficiency:

One form of Growth Hormone Deficiency is the result of a direct malfunction of the Pituitary Gland. This is the rarer cause of Low HGH Levels, and this form of deficiency is normally caused by health conditions which have hindered the body’s ability to produce natural levels of Human Growth Hormone. Nutropin Hormone Replacement Therapy naturally restores Normal Hormone Levels by directly replacing HGH that the pituitary is unable to secrete properly on its own.

A second type of Growth Hormone Deficiency is the result of the reduced function of the Hypothalamus. Low Levels of HGH are rarely caused directly by medical complications arising from the Hypothalamus, but Age-Related HGH Decline is a direct result of changes it Hypothalamic function that occur in adults over the age of thirty.

As we enter our thirties, the Hypothalamus begins releasing less and less Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (also known as GH-RH). This intermediary hormone is the direct precursor of Human Growth Hormone, and, for reasons not fully understood by Endocrine Scientists, declined release of GH-RH is a direct cause of Adult GH Deficiency.

How is Adult Human Growth Hormone Deficiency Diagnosed?

Growth Hormone Deficiency directly caused by Pituitary malfunction can be diagnosed using a method known as the GH Stimulation. With this test, your physician will use GH-RH or another chemical such as Arginine in order to directly stimulate the pituitary gland to release HGH.

HGH Deficiency involving a healthy pituitary gland can be diagnosed by testing the blood stream for a hormone known as Insulin-like Growth Factor One (IGF-1). Although Human Growth Hormone quickly dissipates from the blood stream, making natural production hard to track, IGF-1 stays in the blood stream for a longer period of time, making it a more useful barometer for your innate HGH Production.

How Can I Be Diagnosed with Low Growth Hormone?

In order to be diagnosed with Chronically Low HGH Levels, you must both have a demonstrably reduced ability to secrete Human Growth Hormone, and you must also be symptomatic.

If you experienced Youth-Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency as a child, you will need to show your physician documentation to prove your ongoing deficiency.

What Pituitary Issues can Lead to Adult HGH Deficiency?

In adults, Low Levels of Growth Hormone can be the direct result of damage to the pituitary, or diseases which hinder the function of the gland. In addition to this, pituitary tumors can lead to Growth Hormone Deficiency, the most common of which is a pituitary adenoma. Direct damage to the brain as a result of surgery, trauma, and internal bleeding can also reduce the function of the pituitary. Radiation can also limit the effectiveness of the pituitary gland.

Why did my Medical Specialist Request a DEXA Scan Before Prescribing Nutropin Shots?

DEXA Scans have the ability to monitor body composition. One of the most significant symptoms of HGH Deficiency is a reduction in bone density, and the Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry Scan can be used to quickly and vividly show the health of a patients bones.

DEXA Scans are also able to provide other information such as your personal Body-Fat Ratio, highlighting the percentage of Lean Muscle to Body Fat in your body. By monitoring fat, muscle, and bone density, DEXA Scans allow your physician to monitor the benefits of your treatment by comparing before and after pictures which will track the effectiveness of your individualized Nutropin Hormone Therapy.

How Important Is It to Rotate Sites of Nutropin Injection?

It is very important to Inject Nutropin in a different location every time you administer the hormone treatment. Subcutaneous injection can sometime lead to irritation and skin atrophy if you repeatedly inject treatment into the same location. By rotating the location at which you administer Nutropin, you greatly reduce the risk of issues related to inflammation and tissue breakdown.

Does Nutropin Lead to Fluid Retention?

Nutropin and other forms of HGH Therapy can sometimes lead to edema. Although edema is possible, the medical issue can easily be resolved by adjusting the Nutropin Dosage or taking a medication or supplement which reduces fluid retention. In most cases,0 water retention subsides naturally.

What Other Side-Effects Can Occur as a Result of Nutropin Injections?

The most common side-effect of Nutropin HRT is irritation at the injection site. This can manifest itself as redness, soreness, or general discomfort. These issues are not dangerous, but it is still important to inform your physician.

Most other side-effects related to Nutropin Injection in adult patients are the result of Nutropin Overdose or Nutropin Abuse. If you experience any of the following symptoms, inform your doctor immediately:

Knee pain, hip discomfort, or the development of a slight limp Swelling Water Retention Carpal Tunnel Syndrome General allergic reaction Stomach pain: pancreatic inflammation very rarely occurs as a result of Nutropin Treatment Nausea, migraine, vision changes: Nutropin can very rarely increase fluid pressure in the brain. This symptom is generally not dangerous if caught relatively early.

Before using Nutropin for the first time, talk to your doctor about appropriate Nutropin Injection Protocol in order to ensure that you utilize the drug in a safe and effective manner.

Who is Nutropin HGH For?

Nutropin Hormone Replacement Therapy is a form of HGH Hormone Treatment that is only attainable via prescription and is delivered via a device known as the NuSpin Pen.
Nutropin can be used both by young patients with Childhood-Onset HGH Deficiency and patients past the age of puberty that suffer from Adult-Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency.

Children that suffer from the following medical issues can use Nutropin Hormone Treatments:

Children that are unable to produce adequate HGH

Young patients suffering from Idiopathic Short Stature. These individuals suffer from a medical condition which prevents them from growing in height at the same rate as their peers.

Adolescents with Turner Syndrome qualify for Nutropin Injection Therapy. Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder which hinders the body’s ability to produce Human Growth Hormone adequately.

Young boys and girls that suffer from Chronic Kidney Disease: Kidney malfunction prevents the body from producing HGH normally, and Nutropin can encourage normal growth and development as the patient waits for kidney transplant.

Adults can qualify for Bio-Identical Nutropin if they meet any of the following criteria:

For continuing treatment of Childhood HGH Deficiency.

For management of Adult-Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency as a result of any medical condition which renders the pituitary unable to function properly.

For treatment of Age-Related HGH Deficiency in order to restore health and Normal Human Growth Hormone Levels.

The Safety of Nutropin Treatment

Before choosing Nutropin, examine the following information closely. If you have any questions or concerns, be sure to discuss them with your Hormone Replacement Physician.

Nutropin Injections Should Not be used by:

Individuals that currently are experiencing significant medical issues resulting from abdominal surgery, open heart surgery, multiple-organ trauma or severe breathing difficulty. Nutropin has been linked with with increased risk of death in these instances.

Young patients suffering from Prader-Willi Syndrome that are significantly obese and have experienced issues with breathing in the past: Prader Willi Patients that have issues with breathing problems such as sleep apnea, airway blockages, or obesity have increased mortality risk as a result of Nutropin and other forms of HGH Replacement.

Patients of any age currently suffering from an active cancer: HGH Deficiency can rarely be the sign of a tumor of the brain or pituitary gland. Before using Nutropin, your physician should test to make sure that your deficiency is not the result of cancer.

Individuals with certain diseases of the eye, influenced by diabetes.

Young patients that have finished the growth spurt associated with puberty.

Persons with an allergy to Bio-Identical Somatropin, which is the functional component of Nutropin HRT. These allergies are not generally dangerous, and most commonly manifest themselves as points of high irritation where the HGH Treatment was injected.

What should your physician know before you begin Injecting Nutropin?

Your doctor must know what medications you are currently taking and what medical conditions that you suffer from. Certain medical treatments must be adjusted when taking Nutropin HRT, incuding:

Other forms of Hormone Treatment

Diabetic medicines, including, but not limited to, Insulin

Steroids such as Testosterone HRT

Certain Seizure medications

Nutropin and Tumors

Tell your doctor if you have any benign tumors present on the brain, or if your HGH may be the result of tissue abnormalities on the brain. HGH Hormone Treatments may agitate these issues, and must be monitored closely by your physician.

Nutropin and Cancer

If you have had a history of cancer, especially cancers of the brain, prostate, or ovaries, inform your doctor. There is a minor risk that certain cancers can manifest themselves once again as a result of Nutropin Injection Treatments.

Nutropin and Diabetes

If you are currently diagnosed with diabetes, or have a high clinical risk of developing diabetes, you should only engage in Nutropin HRT with regular blood sugar monitoring. Human Growth Hormone does have an effect on blood-glucose levels and you may need to adjust your Nutropin or Insulin dosage as a result.

Nutropin and Hypopituitarism

If you suffer from general Hypopituitarism and are already taking hormones for overall Pituitary Deficiency, your physician should closely monitor both your Nutropin Treatments and your other Hormone Treatments in order to ensure the safety and effectiveness of your medical protocol.

Nutropin, Pregnancy, and Nursing

Nutropin Injections should only be used by female patients in cases where an absolute need is established. If you are planning pregnancy or currently nursing, you should discuss your treatment options with your doctor. It is currently unclear if Human Growth hormone is released by the mother in breast milk.

Nutropin and Thyroid Health

Thyroid Health should be monitored intermittently throughout Nutrogen Treatments. Some patients may also require Thyroid Hormone Replacement in addition to HGH HRT.

Geriatric Nutropin

Although Human Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy has been studied clinically in patients over the age of sixty five, Nutropin HRT has not been officially cleared. Geriatric patients may respond more actively to Nutropin, so there may be a slightly increased risk of side effect.

Nutropin and Turner Syndrome

Turner Syndrome Patients should be evaluated for heart conditions or ear infection when using Nutropin Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Nutropin and Corticosteroids

Nutropin Bio-Identical Somatotropin Treatments may interact with the human body’s ability to properly utilize cortisone and cortisol, leading to a medical issue known as hypoadrenalism. In patients where this medical issue arises, Glucocorticoid Treatments may be needed to restore optimal hormone function.

Nutropin Handling and Storage

It is vital to store Nutropin under refrigeration at a termperature ranging from 36-46 Degrees Fahrenheit. Never freeze Nutropin. After reconstituting your Nutropin Cartridge for the first time, it most be disposed of within four full weeks. Always check the expiration date before using Nutropin. Discard expired medications. If your Recombinant Nutropin Solution is not clear, you should never inject the treatment.

Sermorelin: A Natural alternative to Human Growth Hormone …

Posted: October 4, 2015 at 2:43 pm

While we were young our brains naturally stimulated the pituitary glands to produce ample amounts of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormones (GHRH), which promote and sustain health and vitality. As we age, the less and less GHRH is produced by our brain causing the pituitary gland production of GHRH to decline leading to a lower level of vitality, vigor and eventually health. At Tampa Rejuvenation, we are committed to people living life fully, with optimal health, energy, and stamina.

Sermorelin Acetate is a safe, natural and preferable method to stimulate the human body to increase production of GHRH. Sermorelin Acetate is compounded by pharmacies and requires a physician’s prescription (it is not a genetically engineered human growth hormone ). Tampa Rejuvanation’s on-staff physicians are experts in hormone therapy and closely monitor our patients’ well-being while taking Sermorelin Acetate. Hormone therapy programs at Tampa Rejuvenation are comprehensive in nature and include: administrative services, initial physician consultations, medical laboratory testing, physician’s physical examination, physician’s medical assessment and evaluation of the patient, prescribed treatment plan, monthly doctor visits (if required or requested by the patient), recommended diet plans and physical fitness assessments and recommendations.

With Sermorelin, the increased volume of GHRH produced by the pituitary gland causes an increase in the production of Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1) by the liver, which can reverse symptoms typically associated with aging. The release of IGF-1 in the blood stream increases the metabolism and growth of new cells within the body’s organs and bones. This treatment also increases lean muscle mass, reduces body fat, increases bone density, enhances the immune system, and strengthens the heart, as well as, optimizing other organs in the body. Since the increased volume of GHRH is produced by the body’s own pituitary gland, the body’s endocrine system (system of glands that secrete hormones) will not allow an excess of growth hormones to be produced; therefore, the body can safely process Sermorelin Acetate with the self-monitoring endocrine system.

With the stimulation of Sermorelin Acetate to the pituitary gland, the increased production of GHRH will be noticeable in your body through:

What does this all mean to you? Consider the rose bush you planted years ago produced beautiful roses for a number of years, but then over the years the number, size and color began to diminish. However, you recently had the soil tested and found crucial elements missing from the soil. By adding these elements back to the soil your rose bush began to revitalize and the roses regained much of their former glory. Sermorelin functions much like fertilizer for the roses and can help revitalize the production of GHRH by the pituitary gland and IGF-1 by the liver which assists in the increase of your metabolism and the growth of new cells within your body.

Growth hormonereleasing hormone

Note:Products containing sermorelin were withdrawn from the market by Serono in November 2002. {02} Accepted

Growth hormone deficiency (treatment)Sermorelin is indicated for treatment of idiopathic growth hormone deficiency in prepubertal children with growth failure {01}. These patients are expected to retain pituitary responsiveness to growth hormonereleasing hormone {01}. Treatment should be initiated at a bone age of 7.5 years or less in females and 8 years or less in males {01}.

Note:The effect of treatment with sermorelin on final adult height has not been determined {01}. Sermorelin has not been studied in, and therefore is not recommended for treatment of, patients with growth hormone deficiency secondary to an intracranial lesion {01}.

Physicochemical characteristics: Source Synthetic {01}. Sermorelin acetate is the acetate salt of an amidated synthetic 29amino acid peptide (GRF 1-29 NH 2) that corresponds to the amino-terminal segment of the naturally occurring human growth hormonereleasing hormone (GHRH or GRF) that consists of 44 amino acid residues {01}. Molecular weight Sermorelin: 3358 daltons {01}

pH 5 to 5.5 (after reconstitution with sodium chloride injection) {01}. Mechanism of action/Effect:

Like naturally occurring GHRH, sermorelin stimulates the pituitary gland to release growth hormone, resulting in an increase in the concentration of growth hormone in the plasma {01}. Absorption:

The mean absolute bioavailability was approximately 6% following a subcutaneous dose of 2 mg administered to healthy volunteers {01}. Distribution:

The mean volume of distribution ranged from 23.7 to 25.8 L following intravenous doses of 0.25 to 1 mg administered to healthy volunteers {01}. Half-life:

11 to 12 minutes following intravenous or subcutaneous administration {01}. Time to peak concentration:

5 to 20 minutes following a subcutaneous dose of 2 mg to healthy volunteers {01}. Elimination: Rapidly cleared from the circulation at a rate of 2.4 to 2.8 L per minute in adults {01}.

Precautions to Consider Carcinogenicity

Long-term animal studies to determine the carcinogenic potential of sermorelin have not been done {01}. Mutagenicity

No evidence of mutagenicity has been found in studies done to date {01}. Pregnancy/Reproduction

Pregnancy Adequate and well-controlled studies have not been done in humans {01}.

Studies in rats and rabbits at doses of 0.5 mg per kg of body weight per day (three and six times the daily human dose based on body surface area, respectively) produced minor variations in the fetuses {01}.

FDA Pregnancy Category C {01}. Breast-feeding

It is not known whether sermorelin is distributed into breast milk {01}. Drug interactions and/or related problems The following drug interactions and/or related problems have been selected on the basis of their potential clinical significance (possible mechanism in parentheses where appropriate)not necessarily inclusive (=major clinical significance):

Note:Combinations containing any of the following medications, depending on the amount present, may also interact with this medication.

Corticosteroids, glucocorticoid(concurrent use may inhibit the response to sermorelin {01})

Laboratory value alterations The following have been selected on the basis of their potential clinical significance (possible effect in parentheses where appropriate)not necessarily inclusive (=major clinical significance):

With physiology/laboratory test values Alkaline phosphatase(values may be increased {01})

Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1){01} and Phosphorus, inorganic{01}(concentrations may be increased {01})

Medical considerations/Contraindications The medical considerations/contraindications included have been selected on the basis of their potential clinical significance (reasons given in parentheses where appropriate) not necessarily inclusive (=major clinical significance).

Risk-benefit should be considered when the following medical problems exist Hypothyroidism{01}(untreated hypothyroidism can impair the response to sermorelin {01})

Sensitivity to sermorelin{01} Patient monitoring The following may be especially important in patient monitoring (other tests may be warranted in some patients, depending on condition; =major clinical significance):

Bone age{01}(determinations recommended periodically during treatment, especially in patients who have reached puberty and/or are receiving concomitant thyroid replacement therapy; in these patients, epiphyseal maturation may progress rapidly {01})

Height{01}(determinations recommended at least every 6 months during treatment {01})

Thyroid function{01}(determinations recommended prior to, and periodically during, treatment because untreated hypothyroidism can impair the response to sermorelin {01})

Note:Many patients develop antibodies to growth hormonereleasing hormone at least once during treatment with sermorelin. However, the significance of these antibodies is not known. Their presence does not appear to affect growth, nor do they cause specific side effects. In addition, a positive test for antibodies at one growth assessment may become negative by the next assessment. {01} No generalized allergic reactions have been reported with sermorelin therapy {01}. Intravenous administration for diagnostic purposes has been associated with flushing of the face; headache; injection site pain, redness, and/or swelling; nausea; pallor; parageusia; tightness in the chest; and vomiting {01}.

The following side/adverse effects have been selected on the basis of their potential clinical significance (possible signs and symptoms in parentheses where appropriate)not necessarily inclusive: Those indicating need for medical attention Incidence more frequent Injection site reaction{01} (pain; redness; swelling)incidence 17%{01}

Incidence rareless than 1% Trouble in swallowing{01} urticaria{01} (itching)

Those indicating need for medical attention only if they continue or are bothersome Incidence rareless than 1% Dizziness{01} flushing{01} headache{01} hyperactivity{01} (trouble sitting still) somnolence{01} (sleepiness)

Testosterone: The Test | Testosterone Test: Total …

Posted: October 2, 2015 at 5:45 am

How is it used?

Testosterone testing is used to diagnose several conditions in men, women, girls, and boys. Examples of some of these conditions include:

Typically, a test for total testosterone is used for diagnosis. The total testosterone test measures testosterone that is bound to proteins in the blood (e.g., albumin and sex-hormone binding globulin [SHBG]) as well as testosterone that is not bound. However, a test for free or bioavailable testosterone may be used if, for example, the level of SHBG in the blood is abnormal.

In boys with delayed or slowly progressing puberty, the test is often ordered with the FSH and LH tests. Although there are differences from individual to individual as to when puberty begins, it is generally by the age of 10 years. Some symptoms of delayed puberty may include:

The test also can be ordered when a young boy seems to be undergoing a very early (precocious) puberty with obvious secondary sex characteristics. Causes of precocious puberty in boys, due to increased testosterone, include various tumors and congenital adrenal hyperplasia.

In men, the test may be ordered when infertility is suspected or when a man has a decreased sex drive or . Some other symptoms include lack of beard and body hair, decreased muscle mass, and development of breast tissue (). Low levels of total and bioavailable testosterone have also been associated with a greater presence of visceral fat (midriff or organ fat), insulin resistance, and increased risk of coronary artery disease.

In females, testosterone testing may be done when a woman has irregular or no menstrual periods (), is having difficulty getting pregnant, or appears to have masculine features, such as excessive facial and body hair, male pattern baldness, and/or a low voice. Testosterone levels can rise because of tumors that develop in either the ovary or or because of other conditions, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

Males: The normal range for testosterone levels in men is broad and varies by stage of maturity and age. It is normal for testosterone levels to slowly decline starting in the third decade of life. The rate may increase in men who are obese or chronically ill and with the use of certain medications.

A low testosterone level (hypogonadism) may be due to:

Increased testosterone levels in males can indicate:

Females: In women, testosterone levels are normally low. Increased testosterone levels can indicate:

Alcoholism and liver disease in males can decrease testosterone levels. Drugs, including androgens and steroids, can also decrease testosterone levels.

Prostate cancer responds to androgens, so many men with advanced prostate cancer receive drugs that lower testosterone levels.

Drugs such as anticonvulsants, barbiturates, and clomiphene can cause testosterone levels to rise. Women taking estrogen therapy may have increased testosterone levels.

Testosterone: A Major Breakthrough for Menopausal Women

Posted: October 2, 2015 at 5:45 am

Hailed as a “prescription for passion” by some and condemned as the “rage steroid” by others, testosterone is the most celebrated, feared and misunderstood of all hormones.

Our culture lauds this substance’s leading role in male virility and casts it as the villain in acts of violent crime. In truth, testosterone is neither miracle nor monster, but rather, a key player in the complex chemistry of human hormones. When balanced by other hormones, testosterone, also known as androgen, plays a lead role in the health and well-being of both sexes.

These days, many menopausal women are turning to testosterone to provide what estrogen alone cannotrenewed sexual desire. Psychiatrist Dr. Susan Rako believes testosterone therapy is a major breakthrough for midlife women. Understanding that testosterone deficiency may be to blame for a loss of interest in sex in an otherwise happy relationship, she points out, could prevent much unnecessary anguish.

Dr. Rako’s book, “The Hormone of Desire: The Truth About Sexuality, Menopause and Testosterone,” is one of a growing wave of publications heralding the importance of this hormone to women’s health. Although androgen therapy is controversial, several small-scale studies and anecdotal evidence from women and clinicians suggest that individualized dosages provide a number of therapeutic benefits.

Testosterone (2003) is a film adaption from James Robert Baker’s novel Testosterone. The film is directed by David Moreton and stars David Sutcliffe, Antonio Sabato, Jr., and Jennifer Coolidge.

Dean Seagrave (David Sutcliffe) is a thirty-something graphic novelist living in L.A., and though he’s found personal happiness with his hot, Argentinian boyfriend, Pablo (Antonio Sabato, Jr.), he can’t surmount his writers’ block slump following his successful debut graphic novel, Teenage Speed Freak. His life begins to unravel when his editor, Luise (Coolidge), gives him an ultimatum, and Pablo, the sexy boyfriend, goes out for cigarettes one night and never comes back. Lonely, depressed, and at the end of his rope, he flies to Argentina in search of closure, but the characters he discovers there Pablo’s secretive and controlling Mother (Snia Braga), Pablo’s ex-lover Marcos (Leonardo Brzezicki), and Marcos’ enigmatic sister Sofia (Celina Font) conspire to prevent him from reaching Pablo.

Although the setting for the story of Testosterone starts in Los Angeles, California and then moves to Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Los Angeles scenes were filmed in Buenos Aires.[1]
